A flexible program that lets you study French while exploring Francophone culture

Consisting of 10 courses (30 credits), the certificate is ideal for students:

  • Who have an intermediate or advanced level of French
  • Who wish to study French part-time or at the same time as another program of study

Take a quarter of your bachelor’s degree in French!

Are you studying business administration?

Learning a new language helps you develop your critical skills while improving memory and discipline.

Are you studying journalism?

Studying French can expand your vocabulary and improve grammar skills, even in English. Bilingual journalists have an advantage that opens door to numerous career opportunities.

Are you studying fine arts?

Artists look at the world with a different and creative eye. Learning a second language can prove an important source of inspiration.

No matter what your study program or career choice, a certificate in French and Francophone intercultural studies can be useful to your future plans.
