The University of Regina is proud to offer the most comprehensive French-language academic programming in Saskatchewan. Thanks to partnerships between La Cité and a number of university faculties and programs, you can take full or part-time studies in French here in Regina.  

We are committed to providing education in French to students from all backgrounds. All French learners are welcome, whatever their level.

Bachelor of Arts in French and Francophone Intercultural Studies (BA)

Study the French language and discover the culture of many Francophone regions and countries

Certificate in French and Francophone Intercultural Studies

A flexible option for students in all disciplines who have an intermediate or advanced level of French

Certificate in French as a Second Language

A 30-credit program over two terms allowing you to attain a strong intermediate level in spoken and written French

Minor in French

Benefit from the choice of two possible minors: French and Francophone Intercultural Studies and French as a second language
