Are you bilingual and passionate about healthcare? You have the option to study in French in the Saskatchewan Collaborative Bachelor of Science in Nursing (SCBScN) program.

The program is offered in a bilingual format: half of the courses are offered in French and half in English.

Seven seats are available for this program option of the four-year bachelor's program in Regina.

How does this program differ from the English-language program?

Several nursing courses (CNUR), the required Indigenous Studies (INDG 100) and Statistics (STAT 100) courses, and some elective courses are offered in French.

  • The ENGL 100 required course has been replaced by FRN 352
  • Special access to scholarships, including the Canadian Heritage scholarship of $500 per term (based on a minimum 9 credits per term)
  • The program’s fourth-year practice is performed in a Francophone or bilingual environment

Advantages:

  • Benefit from smaller classes and closer relationships with teaching faculty in French courses
  • Improve your language and communications skills
  • Expand your career and travel options
  • Take advantage of scholarships offered for studies in French
  • Access numerous services and resources in French provided free by La Cité

More information in English is available at sasknursingdegree.ca.
