Aurélie Labrière is Coordinator of the Centre canadien de recherche sur les francophonies en milieu minoritaire (CRFM) at the University of Regina's La Cité universitaire francophone. She also coordinates the French training Centre.
With the CRFM, she is responsible for planning, coordinating and supervising multidisciplinary and inter-institutional research projects, colloquia and conferences.
Among other things, she organizes the Droit de Cité lecture series, which showcases the research of francophones and francophiles in Saskatchewan and beyond. She actively seeks opportunities to present research and share knowledge, often in partnership with Fransaskois community organizations.
As part of the French training Centre, Aurélie develops and implements professional development programs based on the needs of the community.
She oversees activities such as oral communication courses, immersion weeks, the Test d'évaluation en français (TEF), as well as ad hoc training programs set up to meet the needs of the Fransaskois community.
