Length: 130 min
Synopsis: Louis Cyr, from a working-class family in Lowell, decides one day to take his destiny into his own hands and become the strongest man in the world. After being scammed by a dishonest manager, he and his wife return to Montreal and set up a strongman show. Soon, the Americans are interested in the character and invite him to travel the country to demonstrate his talents. He impressed the crowds and set numerous strength records. When his daughter shows an interest in the strength scene, Louis decides to enroll her in boarding school, fearing that, like him, she will become an illiterate circus freak.

Movie:C.R.A.Z.Y. by Jean-Marc Vallée
Length: 127 min
Synopsis: The film tells the story of a young homosexual in the 1970s, Zachary (Zach), played by Marc-André Grondin. In the film, Zach is the youngest of five boys who must face the discovery of his homosexuality in a family climate marked by Catholicism and traditional values. In particular, Zachary comes into conflict with his politically conservative and homophobic father, played by Michel Côté, with whom he nevertheless shares a passion for music. The story of C.R.A.Z.Y is above all a father-son confrontation, with love ultimately enabling both to accept each other's differences.
