Dr. Chidi Igwe wears two distinctive caps as both the Manager of Marketing and Communications and a dedicated sessional lecturer. He brings a wealth of expertise to La Cité universitaire francophone with over a decade of teaching experience. Chidi has been an integral part of the academic landscape since 2007, demonstrating his commitment to fostering knowledge and academic excellence.
In addition to his role in marketing and communications, Chidi's academic journey includes a significant period as an Assistant Professor from 2010 to 2015. Following this, he transitioned to the Government of Saskatchewan, where he served as a Communications Consultant for six years. During this time, Chidi played pivotal roles in four different ministries: Education, Trade and Export Development, Immigration and Career Training, and Energy and Resources.
Chidi's unique dual role allows him to seamlessly bridge the realms of academia and public service, bringing a rich blend of theoretical knowledge and practical experience to both his managerial and teaching responsibilities. His insights gleaned from years of experience in diverse sectors contribute to the strategic support and guidance he provides to La Cité's administrative and teaching teams.
