High school... École Providence in Vonda, SK (but grew up in St-Denis, SK).

Hobbies… hacky sack, skateboarding, and drawing.

Favourite class… INDG 100 - Indigenous Studies in French because I find First Nations and Aboriginal culture fascinating.

Dream job… outdoor education teacher, so my students can spend their days exploring nature.

I'm a La Cité Leader because… I'm very passionate about Fransaskois culture. My entire schooling has been in French, so I want to give back to my community by fostering a rich Francophone culture in Saskatchewan.

Did you know… that I can juggle almost perfectly!

Dream job… interviewing celebrities.

I'm a La Cité Leader because…  I want to be part of a team that promotes French while also immersing myself in Francophone culture on campus.

Did you know… that I love travelling! My favourite trip so far has been Costa Rica.

Hobbies... dancing, singing, playing piano, drawing and travelling.

Dream job… high school teacher.

I'm a La Cité Leader because… it's the perfect opportunity to share my ideas and vision for our Francophone campus here at the University of Regina.

Did you know… that in 2015 I participated in the Forum national des jeunes ambassadeurs in Moncton, New Brunswick. I spent a week with 30 other bilingual, Francophone students to develop our leadership skills.

Hobbies… playing soccer and organizing activities for students.

I'm a La Cité Leader because… it's a way for me to promote Francophone leadership and French on campus.

Did you know… that I'm originally from Guinea in West Africa and that I studied in Morocco before coming to Canada.

High school... Walter Murray Collegiate in Saskatoon, SK

Hobbies… skating.

Favourite class… KHS 139 – Movement Education.

Dream job… teacher.

I'm a La Cité Leader because… I want to help students make friends in the French community on campus and I like organizing events.

Did you know… that I speak four languages: Romanian, Russian, English and French.

Piper Stewart

1st year, Certificate in French as a Second Language

 

High school... Greenall High School in Balgonie, SK.

Hobbies… playing ringette (I've been playing for 10 years) and baking.

Favourite class… French! In high school I liked English and the arts.

Dream job… travelling the world for National Geographic to learn more about the different aspects of each culture and having the opportunity to experience new things every day.

I'm a La Cité Leader because… I think it's important for students to take advantage of the culture and languages that surround them. I've only spent a few months learning French and it has opened by  eyes to how amazing French culture can be!

Did you know… that in grade 10 I had the opportunity to attend hockey games in Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic.
